Greenback Express Logo and Branding
This was created around a proposed train line which would hypothetically run from Cheyenne to Colorado Springs. I named it the Greenback Express after the Colorado state fish. As such, all advertisements and products were themed around fishing.
This triptych is meant to act as an advertisement for this proposed train line. I focused on creating a collage by hand of different fishing lures in different colors. I then mirrored this design choice in the background. The bright colors were also a specific choice to push me out of my comfort zone and usual style.
This Visitor Guide is meant to point out different activities and accommodations for each major city on the proposed train line. Each city would have a different color associated with it. I wanted to create a format which could be flexible with its grid, as shown in the bottom two spreads, but could also differentiate itself enough for each city.
This started as an idea for a souvenir tote bag, but eventually branched into multiple bags and a box. I was especially drawn to the white, green, and blue on brown for the shopping bag and box. In keeping with the paper craft motif, I created a simple construction paper collage for the tote bag and a new magazine collage fish for the bag in the center.
